What was wrong with the Atlanta server?    My pings went from 35 -57 but averaged about 40.

Was on with 4 other players & had a fair bit of lag. Ping averaged 115 which is slightly higher than the main server we use now (usually 108).

I got a ping of about 140 when 4 people were on , which is really high for me, i normally got like 110 on teh main server.
No lag though

I have no difference and im not lagging, except that in Atlanta i got little higher about 10-25 something like that lol

I rather play in a UK server then

So it makes you wonder.........slightly higher ping and no lag or slightly lower ping and lag...........I'd rather have lower or no lag.

I had no issues at all.  I didn't notice any difference in how the higher ping players came across in our encounters and didn't witness anyone having lag.

We have been having a lot of what I believe is "server lag" lately on our main server.  There is server lag when the server doesn't respond fast enough to the action in the game mainly because is doing other things or lacks resources.  And, there is local computer lag for basically the same time, housekeeping, other things running and resource issues.  Finally there is ping lag due to distance from the server, internet connection, hops and routing, etc.  

I think we should look at finding a server company that can provide a quality server regardless of the location and go with it.  We all need to be a bit flexible about ping, a little jump in ping is not going to affect gameplay much, but a server that is low on resources, or highly shared, will have a much greater affect.
