This is going to be a 3 map uo scrim. I will post the maps in the next few days. There will be some changes in the scrim (at least this one) The teams will be rotated after 2 or 3 rounds, this will make the map fairer (you don't have to wait 5 rounds if your getting the losing end of the battle, this will make the team who can play both offense and defense  the winner). I still have to do the changes for this but at least in theory it sounds more logical. (this will not effect lts gametype tho)

Please come back for the follow up with what maps will be played ........most likely will have a re, sd and lts. Will have either DUI and/or stock maps in this scrim.

But just 3 maps?  I don't understand the seeming reluctance to play 5 maps.  Everytime, whether 3 maps or 5 maps, after we finish a scrim, the majority of people say "where are we going now, to our OU regular server, or to our COD4 server?" and then at least half do go there.  Yes, it's a commitment, to pledge to stay and and play all the maps, even for the "losing" team, but that commitment brings out better team play, better tactics, less Kamikaze idiots, and more fun.  IMHO.  Or my 1.75 cents worth.

Hi All,

After reading RedRock's signup, I propose that we all after the scrim
go over to the regular DUI UO server and continue to play.

I can not get COD 4 to load on my PC.

However if all of you want to go to COD4 then go and have fun and I will see you next time.

I put the server side files from the main server onto the scrim server you should be able to use sticky smokes and flashbangs now.......also you should be able to do them as trip wires like on the main server. I wasn't able to test this by myself ...


The  reason for the 3 maps are because of my own time restraints to be able to play. I have to put in 12+hrs at work everyday 7 days a week and then I have to do my errands after work and other things. I think I turned the PC on for a few times last week before I had to call it a night or fell a sleep LOL.....

Would like to play but have a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder, cortisone shots and pt haven't improved it will be headed for MRI Tuesday. Just resting my arm on table and holding mouse for extended period is painful.

Dang sorry to hear that Joe....... I know how that can be I had rotator cuff surgery last year on my left shoulder (thankfully I am right handed) Still dealing with recovery...... take it easy and don't over do things.
