best way is to build one tho,you can look it up in tigerdirect.com or newegg.com for parts or a computer.Other than that, you can look it up in Bestbuy. But, Im sure, our folks here can help you build one.

I would look for a good gaming laptop from ASUS or MSI.  I use a G75VW laptop and mount it with the lid closed against the wall held in place with a towel holder. Then I attach a monitor, keyboard and mouse. The laptop has a NVIDIA GTX 660m video card inside, an i7 Intel processor, 16GB of RAM , and it can handle any current game that I can throw at it. One big advantage is the mobility of the laptop.

Here is a similar one from ASUS on Amazon,

I think I may try to reinstall windows and see if that fixes.  If not I'll just load cod on my vaio, which I hate, and plug my monitor and keyboard in to that.

that Asus Laptop is better than Alienware from what I read.
But I would still suggest getting a desktop tho. Laptops can deceive you with their performances lol

Technically, yes.  You can run Call of Duty without installing if you copy the entire directory from one install to another.  I've never done it but was shown it when I first set up CoD on my server.

You are better off with a fresh install.  On the downside, you will have to reinstall Punkbuster again and there are several ways to do that, some better than others.

See if you can grab the original CoD folder from the Program Files (x86) directory if you can.
