Hi Sarge.  A couple of the panes are repeated on the right side. Also, the little icons above this message entry window are not showing up. They are all 'X's. I've been really busy. We spent this last year remodeling the house.  Empty out an area of the house, put everything into a couple of the other rooms, tear out some things, build new things (flooring, counter tops, fictures, lighting, etc), paint, put everything back where it belonged, rest for a couple of weeks. Repeat... Repeat...  Finally done.

Hope everyone had a great holidays and may this next year be a really good one for all. Hope to be back online soon.

I recently became interested in how to make animated short films for YouTube. So I took an online course and then spent about three weeks putting this together. Here is a link to my first 2D Animated Short Film.

Yes Joe, there has been a lot of thought about this very situation. The slow part to fixing this problem is figuring out the code that is active during this situation; then considering the possible options; determining what we think is the best option; rewriting the code; testing the new code under controlled conditions; maybe fixing the code again; and finally publishing an addition to our mod.

Sarge is working on a change to our B3 code that will allow any admin to bump a player to Spectate. Changing B3 to recognize the proper situation and then move a player to spectate all by itself, is a 'whole nother can of worms'.

Progress in making changes to our code is always slow. We have one person who has syntax experience, one person who has somewhat of a grasp of the program organization, and one person who helps research and test.  Any changes takes hours of work and usually at a pace that is a couple of hours here, a few hours there, etc.  Then, if it doesn't work correctly in all test conditions, we start all over. Its not pretty.  lol

One of the important things is our list of possible changes. We prioritize suggested changes. A few have been somewhat quick, others require quite a lot of research, some don't require much research but a lot of recoding, and some look like they would require a major rewrite of CoD or UO.

But we keep working the problems.  We'll get there.

If you understood the gas operated M-16, you knew this was coming someday.  Well, someday is here.  This .308 caliber/7.62mm NATO has less recoil than a .22 LR, and far less than the M-16 and M-4.

       H & K HAS A WINNER!

This thing sounds like a sewing machine. Where is the recoil? Forget the AR-15/M-16 and the M-60 .....this is the new "pig" !

Almost no recoil as well. Just throw it in some water to cool it off! This beaut is a real "base of fire" ! Best thing out of Germany since German Beer and the VW 'Beetle'. Very Impressive and stable platform. It can be fired from virtually any position including standing. Virtually no muzzle rise with a 7.62! Check the ease in changing the barrels as well as the very low recoil forces it has.

This link is to a demo of the new German Army machine gun:
