Looks like the ventrilo server we have used for the last 3 years just stopped running out of the blue. We have a new ventrilo server.

IP: vent1.light-speed.com
port: 8734

same pw as always. (pm or email me if you can't remember)

They changed the IP and didn't tell me. The IP is 108.62.106.48 same port and pw. Just click on the server tab on ventrilo and replace the ip address with the new one 108.62.106.48 and you should be able to connect.
Sorry I haven't been on in a while work and other real life issues keeping me from getting on as often as I would like.

Nov 04 2020 10:45:00 PM PT Flagship has advised us that we must shut down and stop hosting all Ventrilo servers. It is not clear yet whether this is part of a larger shutdown plan for Ventrilo overall, or whether it is just us (or just certain hosts) that are being required to shut down.

We do know that Ventrilo has been declining in popularity for many years -- it was overtaken in popularity by TS3 and Murmur quite some time ago (and those two now massively outstrip its client base), and more recently by centrally-hosted services. We have relatively few Ventrilo customers remaining.

At this time, customers need to be switched to different voice platforms. Please visit our order page (or our VDS order page, if this is part of a VDS package) to modify your service and switch your server to TS3 or Murmur. Please apply the code UUEBIM to prevent our system from giving you an error about deleting the old service, and please be sure to carefully read the confirmation page after submission to check that the expected changes are being made.

We are working on a script that will support automatically switching the services of any customers who do not manually make an adjustment into higher-value Murmur/Mumble servers. We do not yet have that script completed, however. Soon after it is completed, we will likely have to run it on remaining Ventrilo customers, who can then convert their servers to TS3, if desired.

If you have any questions about how to convert your service, please let us know ASAP through the "Help" page in your control panel.

Update @ 10:08am PDT on 11/6: Flagship appears to have released a new version and prevented old clients from connecting to old servers. This means that customers will need to convert their servers to one of the other platforms now. We recommend switching to Murmur if you are not sure which one to use, but TS3 is also a solid choice. We do not recommend trying to continue with Ventrilo at another host, as it is not clear how much longer it will be around.

Ventrilo issues/changes
Oct 27 2020 02:15:31 PM PT We have been told by Flagship (the makers of Ventrilo) that they are being forced to transition away from their current datacenter provider, and as a result, Ventrilo 3.0 no longer works properly. We have been told that version 3.1 will be provided to us to fix this, but we haven't received it yet.

As it currently stands, it appears that Ventrilo servers are unable to start and returning an error related to the license. Please refrain from restarting your server for now, while we attempt to communicate with Flagship and get a fix.

Update @ 10:12pm PDT on 10/31: Flagship resolved the license problem later on 10/27, but the fix is incomplete, as we still need a new version of the server to handle their datacenter change. We have not yet received that update. It is possible that it will not come before the old servers are shut down. We recommend that customers start considering a migration to Murmur or TS3, in case Flagship fails to handle this properly (we do not have high expectations). This change can be made through our order page. It is possible that your server would cost more as a TS3 for the same number of slots; please contact us for a coupon code to keep it the same price.

Well website has been down trying to get it up but not working to well.

Had to redo website. The host upgraded software that crashed our older website and was causing issues. Let me know if there are any issues.

My pc took a dump a. Couple weeks ago I ordered same motherboard in hopes I don't have to reinstall windows. I also ordered a new case so I can get better airflow. The MB and case came in just have to put them together and hope there's no issues. Hope to kill each other's pixels soon.
Work has still been crazy hoping to get a day off before September.

Just wanted to drop in and say sorry I haven't been on much . I've been busy with a ton of work and RL issues that have kept me away. If you type dui-clan.com in web browser it will direct you to this page. I will hope to do map rotations for CODUO and COD4 soon. Possibly try a new mod for Cod4 but not sure. I think my pc doesn't like the mods I will install game sometime on another pc and see how or if they will work. Steam is having their annual summer sale you can pick up some games fairly cheap. I bought War Of Rights....... I civil war fps .... you can do drills and things. I only played if for a few minutes alone on a drill server. It seems fun and will have a huge learning curve. Would love to see Tex on this game.

Well you can pick up Battlefield 1 on origin on sale for $4.99 It's a fun WWI FPS game with great graphics. You can pick up updated versions for some more money but I think you'll find the game fun.
They have several titles on sale......... Battlefield 4 , Star Wars battlefront �and Medal of Honor... just to name a few.

Our Ventrilo provider had changed our Ventrilo IP to 74.91.113.173
just load your Ventrilo and next to our server name click the > and find the old IP and change it to
74.91.113.173 then you should be able to connect with no issues.
Sorry I didn't catch this sooner but I have been hit hard with call outs and just got a chance to get on my pc tonight.

We have a discord account already..... The new vent ip is 74.91.113.173 everything else is the same change the ip address only in your Ventrilo
